- "Well, I saw him earlier, said you have to kill him before he gives up his guns."
- —Dres to Big Jim regarding Ted.[src]
Dres Johnson is a minor character and a survivor of the dome in CBS' Under the Dome. He is a resident of Chester's Mill.
Before the Dome[]
Hardly anything is known about Dres' life before the dome came down, except that he is a resident of Chester's Mill.
Under the Dome[]
Season 1[]
"The Endless Thirst"[]
Dres is seen standing outside Terry's store. When Linda and Barbie walk up to Terry's store, Terry explains the reality to Linda, and Dres and Terry nearly get into a fight before Linda stands between them. Dres tells Terry that it isn't fair that he won't take their money and will only accept batteries. The problem is quickly resolved when Linda arrives and asks for someone to give batteries to Dres. A civilian reluctantly gives Dres some batteries and he then apologizes to Linda for making a scene and walks into Terry's store.
"The Fourth Hand"[]
Dres is seen very briefly when Big Jim makes the announcement to give in their guns if they so choose. When Dres gives Big Jim his gun, Big Jim asks him if he has seen Ted Utley and tells Big Jim that he has. He says that Ted told him that if Big Jim wants Ted's guns, he'll have to kill him.
