Before the DomeEdit

Under the DomeEdit

"Highways and Byways"Edit

Robert had been digging potatoes, he came in for lunch, driving his old Deere tractor and listening to his brand new iPod. His house was only half a mile from the field he'd been digging, but unfortunately for him, the field was in Motton and the house was in Chester's Mill. He hit the Dome at fifteen miles an hour, while listening to James Blunt singing 'You're Beautiful'. He had a very loose grip on the tractor's steering wheel, because he could see the road all the way to his house and there was no other vehicles. When his tractor came to a crash-halt, Robert was flung forward directly into the Dome. His iPod exploded  in his front pocket of his bib overalls, but he never felt it. He broke his neck and fractured his skull on the Dome and died in the dirt shortly thereafter.

On his way home from the  potato field he had been working on Robert crashed into the Dome, the iPod in his pocket exploded but he didn't feel it as he flew over the tractor's engine block and hit the Dome breaking his neck and fracturing his skull.

Helen RouxEdit

Although Robert and Helen Roux aren't seen interacting it is assumed they have a happy, loving relationship. This is clear through the fact that both are married and living together with their daughter, Georgia. It is also mentioned that Helen had given Robert a brand new iPod for his birthday.

  • Although the farmer's name is unknown in the episode "The Fire" he is most likely the TV counterpart of Robert Roux as both had an identical part the only differences being Robert was unaware of the Dome whereas the farmer knew it was there and tried to attempt to dig out, Robert died whereas Big Jim stopped Unnamed Farmer from making contact.
  • Billy and Robert's death and the circumstances around them were very similar.
    • Both were driving at the time of their death.
    • Both were heading home to/with their wife.
    • Both crashed their vehicles into the Dome and died on impact.
